Brink of Speed discusses the best options for the 2023 C8 Corvette Stingray while displaying the custom Captain America wrap on his very own C8.

When the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray first came out, many already consider it an instant classic. Nevertheless, potential Chevrolet customers may have a hard time selecting the options for their C8 Corvettes. Brink of Speed’s Michael Brink, a YouTuber and happy owner of a 2020 C8 Chevy Corvette with a custom Captain America wrap, shared his take on the must-have options for the upcoming 2023 Stingray model.

To follow Michael’s recommended options, it’s better to build a virtual C8 Corvette using Chevy’s online configurator. Brink of Speed recommends building a 2023 C8 Corvette on the 2LT trim because of six reasons. First, the 2LT trim comes with a front cam. The front cam can show a high-resolution digital image of the area directly in front of the C8 Corvette. This trim also features a rear camera mirror that provides a less obstructed view.

Likewise, the 2LT trim provides side-mirror visual alerts when it detects a moving vehicle in a side blind zone. Furthermore, the 2LT trim comes with a Head-Up Display that projects vehicle information onto the windshield. It also comes with a Performance data and video recorder that could record video and real-time performance data, which the driver can replay later. Lastly, the 2LT trim comes with heated and cooled seats.

After selecting the 2LT trim, the customer would have to choose the specs for the exterior, wheels, interior, packages, and other options. Michael recommends choosing the 20-spoke gloss black forged aluminum wheels and changing the color of the brake calipers and seat belts to match the looks of the C8 Corvette.

Now for the exterior options, Michael recommends selecting the Carbon Flash Metallic-painted outside mirrors and spoiler. He also recommends a low-profile rear spoiler and front splitter, as well as the 6.2L engine cover for a stylish upgrade and extra protection from dirt and debris.

For those who wanted to increase the C8 Corvette’s power level to 495 hp of output and 470 lb-ft of torque, a black-finished performance exhaust is a welcomed option.

Furthermore, Michael recommended selecting the Front Lift With Memory option, which could raise the front of the vehicle by 2 inches to allow the C8 Corvette to handle some bumps. If the customer has no plans for a track day, Michael recommends not selecting the Z51 package of the Magnetic Selective Control. A C8 Corvette with these options costs $81,300, or nearly $10,000 more than the base model.
