Listed with Mecum Auctions, this incredible 218-mph supercar, with just 100 miles on the clock, is one of just 15 made and got made to order.
The McLaren Sabre is one of the most incredible modern machines to come from the McLaren company. It is a product of the famous McLaren Special Operations division, or MSO, and only 15 of these incredible cars were ever made. As such, it's extremely rare to see one come up for sale. However, thanks to Mecum Auctions and their Monterey 2022 auction in August, one McLaren Sabre is up for sale. This is the 11th Sabre produced, and has just 100 miles on the clock.
What makes the Sabre even more special is that it is a product for the US market only. So if you see one in Europe, it might be the only one on the continent! This particular Sabre is in a stunning Liquid Argentum paint scheme with Gloss VCF and Liquid Papaya pinstripes across the car.
The body is totally made out of carbon fiber, and the Sabre is the most powerful-non hybrid road car ever made by McLaren. That is thanks to its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine which chucks out 824 hp, and propels the Sabre to a top speed of 218 mph.

There is plenty of additional detail on the outside of the car. For example, there are interwoven visual carbon fiber graphics on the side blades of the Sabre, and Volcan Orange brake calipers with a black McLaren logo. The Sabre also features a carbon fiber monocage chassis.
Step inside the Sabre and there is yet more detail. This includes features such as the contrasting MSO logos embroidered onto the headrests, and the visual satin carbon fiber interior accents. Volcano Orange is present inside too, as the color of choice for the driver's seat, with the passenger seat in Carbon Black.

The interior is beautifully capped off with the stunning Liquid Papaya seat shell pinstripes. There are also brushed Azores air vent bezels, steering wheel paddles, central screen bezel, door strut and release too. To handle all the V8 power we’ve mentioned, the Sabre has a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
The engine produces 590 lb-ft of torque, and to keep that engine covered up is a Gorilla Glass engine cover. The Diamond-milled seven-spoke wheels are in gloss black and as each car was, in fact, made to order, there really is no other McLaren Sabre quite like this one.
