A 2004 VW Golf R32 with just 1,800 miles (2,896 km) on the clock is currently available through an online auction and is attracting a lot of interest. In fact, with less than an hour left in the auction, it had attracted a highest bid of $45,000.
The car was delivered new to Sharrett Volkswagen of Hagerstown, Maryland and was purchased by the seller in February 2020 from the original owner. It is being sold with a window sticker, original purchase documents, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title in the seller’s name.

Adorning the exterior is a Deep Blue Pearl paint scheme and the original owner installed a Cupra front bumper and an aftermarket lower rear bumper. The Bring A Trailer listing shows the hot hatch riding on OZ Racing 18-inch wheels with Goodyear tires. Blue-finished brake calipers at all four corners also catch the eye.
Inside, this thing looks brand new. The black leather upholstery across the seats is immaculate. Additionally, the leather-wrapped steering wheel is protected by a plastic cover. Among the nice features include Konig front seats, aluminum door sill and pedal covers, automatic climate control, and a factory CD/cassette stereo.
The Golf R32 is powered by a 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine producing 240 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque that’s mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
The Golf R32 is located in Middletown, Connecticut and the Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
